Today I am really missing my only crew and best friend, salty dog Zia. 😢 I’ve been thinking about all the times she brought me comfort and joy during our recent 18-day passage to NZ . . .
We only caught one fish the whole trip, and at the last minute it slipped the hook, but it was super exciting for Zia anyway! After this year sailing the South Pacific, she knows the word “fishy” and starts looking over the sides for one as soon as I say it! 🤣🐟
I’m looking forward to having her home from quarantine, hopefully before New Year’s 🤞
